MY JOURNEY
My journey began long before becoming aware of it. As a young girl, I felt a drive to connect with others. To listen as much as I wanted to be heard and to truly understand life outside of my own experience. And so, I have devoted my work to doing just that.
I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I provide psychotherapy for clients who are struggling to find their inner voice. I help them develop a loving self image while building skills such as self-advocacy, mindfulness, and emotional-regulation.
Therapy is valuable to those with and without diagnosable disorders. We can work together to manage experiences and emotions that affect you today; so that you can live a life that has a more authentic congruence with your values.
My philosophy is simple: Listen to yourself as much as you want to be heard from others. I value seeing others for who they are holistically, beyond ‘the problem.’ That is why I show up everyday as human first, therapist second.
